Rules

Group stage

Top-two picks: each correctly picked team that finishes in a group's top two is worth 1 point. Order does not matter by default, so picking both qualifiers is worth 2 points for that group.

Match picks: each correct group-stage result is worth 1 point. Because group games can end tied, the pick options are Team A, Draw, or Team B.

Standard lock: all group-stage picks lock at the kickoff of the opening match.

Late-entry mode: if an admin enables late group entry for a pool, group match picks lock individually at each match kickoff. Group top-two picks lock group-by-group at that group's first kickoff.

Knockout stage

Winner picks: each correct knockout winner is worth 3 points.

Lock: each knockout pick locks at that match's kickoff.

The admin fills in Round of 32 participants manually. Round of 16 and later participants auto-fill from finalized knockout results, then players can pick each match winner until kickoff.

Pools

Each pool code creates a separate contest with its own picks, leaderboard, and late-entry setting. A player can join multiple pools, switch active pools from the Pools page, and make different picks in each pool.

Admin workflow

After matches finish, the admin enters scores and marks games final. For group top-two scoring, the admin sets the official first and second finishers for each group. This avoids edge cases around tournament tiebreakers. Round of 32 teams stay admin-entered; later knockout slots update automatically after source matches are marked final. Admins can also create more pool codes and enable late group entry for specific pools from the Admin screen.
